"International Journal of Advances in Engineering and Pure Sciences" journal, which is published under Marmara University Institute of Pure and Applied Sciences, continues its publishing life with the aim of contributing to the scientific world by publishing high quality studies in the field of Science and Engineering. Blind referee system is applied for objective publishing.

International Journal of Advances in Engineering and Pure Sciences (JEPS) is published 4 times in a year (March, June, September, December) and in the fields of Basic Sciences and EngineeringInternational Journal of Advances in Engineering and Pure Sciences accepts

in the field of pure and applied sciences and engineering. The journal is a refereed journal, and is accepted with the approval of at least two referees proposed by the journal after the preliminary evaluation of the board of directors.

Articles in our International Journal of Advances in Engineering and Pure Sciences journal are gathered are
Research Articles: These are articles consisting of theoretical, computational and experimental original scientific studies and dissertations in the fields of pure and applied sciences.

Ethics: The articles to be published in our journal must be within the scientific ethical rules.

The national and international ethical rules must be followed, the requirement of compliance with research and publication ethics must be clearly stated in the "Article Writing Rules",
In the scientific articles to be sent to journals, ICMJE (International Committee of Medcial Journal Editors) recommendations and COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) 'International Standards for Editors and Authors should be taken into consideration,

Submitted articles must not have been published in another journal, in whole or in part, and have not been submitted for publication. Any responsibility for the articles to be published in the journal belongs to the author (s). The writing language of our journal is Turkish and / or English, and the text of the article should be understandable, and should be written in a plain and fluent manner with technical statements in the relevant field. Turkish and English of the manuscript should be submitted with the article. Unnecessary and well-known information and unnecessary sources should be avoided and quoted with reference to previously published data, formulas and results. International rules of naming, abbreviation and symbols should be used. Abbreviations that are specific to the article or used in the relevant field should be specified in parentheses in the first place. The article accepts SI (Systemé International) units and abbreviations.
International Journal of Advances in Engineering and Pure Sciences Journal is a refereed journal and is accepted with the approval of at least two referees proposed after the preliminary evaluation of the journal editor group.

The articles uploaded to the system for publication in the International Journal of Advances in Engineering and Pure Sciences are taken into preliminary examination by the Journal Editor and / or Department Editor. All incoming articles are first scanned in the ithenticate plagiarism program, and if the score is not approved, it is rejected by the Editor or Journal Editorial Board. In addition, even if the article gets the appropriate score, the Editorial Board has the right to make a rejection decision without sending the articles that cannot be published in our journal to the referees. Articles that do not follow the spelling rules of our journal are sent back to the author for correction. The articles that pass the quality evaluation procedure are sent to at least two different referees for review. The Journal Editor decides whether the articles will be accepted for publication, taking into account the referee reports. The referee appointed by the Editor for the article should upload the result to the system within 3 weeks after accepting our request for evaluation. When this time is exceeded, a warning message is sent to the referees.
Journal writing rules are also print format. For this reason, the spelling rules must be carefully applied by the authors. Articles that do not comply with the spelling rules will be sent back to the authors.

Manuscripts should be submitted electronically as MS Word files. The article should be written with Times New Roman font in 10 font size, single spaced and 2.5 cm space on all four sides of the paper. Figures, graphics, pictures, formulas and tables must be produced originally and cleanly and clearly ready for printing from the computer and should be placed in the text. The Journal Editor and Editorial Board are not responsible for transferring them to electronic media.

ARTICLE LAYOUT
ARTICLE TITLE
There should be a short and simple title that is appropriate for the subject of the article in Turkish and English, explaining the purpose and result. Article title should be written in bold, initial letters in capital letters and centered in 14 font Times New Roman font. In Turkish articles, the English title should be given before the English abstract. For English articles, the Turkish title should be given before the Turkish abstract.

AUTHOR NAMES AND ADDRESSES
The names are written in capital letters, centered side by side under the title without shortening the names. Abbreviations should not be used in addresses. A numerical superscript should be used for authors with different addresses. Names TNR 10 point, flat and dark; the addresses must be in TNR 10 point, italic. Title should not be written before the names. Also, the phone and e-mail address of the responsible author should be written in 10 point TNR font as footer.
ORCID information of the authors should be provided.

ABSTRACT AND KEYWORD
In articles written in Turkish, first, Turkish; In articles written in English, firstly, both Turkish and English should be written in 9 font size in English, not exceeding 250 words each. Abstract and Abstract titles should be TNR, 9 font size and bold. 4-6 keywords should be entered under the Abstract in 9 points.

TEXT
I. INTRODUCTION
It is the section that gives the purpose of the study and its place among the past studies. SI (Systeme International) units and abbreviations should be used in the article. When other abbreviations are used, they should be specified where they appear in the text. All texts should be written with TNR, 10 font size, normal, single spacing and without using first line indent in the paragraph.
II. MATERIAL AND METHOD
Experimental methods used for experimental studies should be given in a detailed and descriptive way. The method used should be descriptive so that it can be repeated by others. For theoretical studies, if the derivation has been made elsewhere, the formulas should be given with reference, and the final formula should be written by explaining each quantity in its content or the required derivation should be outlined.
2.1 Title Numbering
First level titles capitalized, bold 10 point, Times New Roman (TNR), left-aligned (I. ROMAN FIGURE)
Second level titles The first letters of the words in the title are capital, normal, italic 10 point Times New Roman, left aligned (1.1 Second Level Titles)
In the third level titles, only the first letter of the first word is capital, normal, italic 10 point Times New Roman, left aligned (1.1.1 Third level titles)
2.2 Images
All images should be drawn taking into account the page sizes. Images must be numbered sequentially throughout the article. Each image should contain its own title and necessary explanations. Description should not be more than 2 lines. Title and description texts with TNR 10 font size; title part should be bold and description part should be written normal. Figure title and description text below the relevant figure (Photographs, pictures, drawings and graphics should be evaluated as figures); Table title and explanation writings should be placed on the relevant table.
Figures and tables embedded in the text should be centered within the page. Figures and tables should be given close to where their names appear in the text. And abbreviations should not be made in the title of the Figure or Table in the text. (For example, it should not be like “Fig. 1”,…. Active and passive condition monitoring should be written as shown in Figure 2.)
Tables must be prepared using the table property of the MSWord processor. The data in the table should be 10 points.

2.3 Adding Equations and Numbering
Equations should be written left-aligned, and should be expressed with a single number throughout the entire article, regardless of the section number, and should be numbered accordingly. The number representing the equation number must be aligned to the far right and must be given in parentheses. for exampl

III. FINDINGS AND DISCUSSION
The results obtained in this section should be given by supporting with tables, figures and graphics if necessary. All tables and figures should be included in the text. The results must be interpreted by avoiding unnecessary repetitions. The results should be given similarities and differences with other researches, and their possible causes should be discussed. The contribution and importance of the results to science should be emphasized.
3.1 Conclusions and Evaluations
This section is where summary of results are indicated. The results from your data should be described in this section. Recommendations for future research can also be specified in this section. The statements mentioned in the conclusion should have been discussed in the text before and should not contain any new information.
3.1.1 Acknowledgments section
It is a short thank you to the institutions or individuals who support the study or to the experts who made suggestions for the research. If this study was supported by the Marmara University Scientific Research Projects Commission (BAPKO), the project should be referenced by the project number.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT
If there will be an Acknowledgment section, it should be given before the end of the text.

REFERENCES
It is the section in which the references are listed in square brackets [X] presented according to the order of appearance in the text. References should be written in 10-point Times New Roman font, in accordance with the APA format, without spaces after paragraphs and square brackets should be written in bold.

Articles are added to the first issue planned to be published as soon as they are ready for publication; however, after all the articles are completed, the relevant issue is published collectively.
In the International Journal of Advances in Engineering Pure Sciences Magazine, which publishes 4 issues a year, the usual publication schedule is planned as follows:
Number 1, end of March;
Number 2, end of June;
Number 3, end of September;
Number 4, end of December.
Names and e-mail addresses on this journal site will be used for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be used for other purposes or any other section.
A letter stating that the submitted work has not been published elsewhere or has not been sent to another journal must be uploaded to the system as an additional document. All the authors in the article should sign the Copyright Form stating that they have published the copyright of their work to the International Journal of Advances in Engineering Pure Sciences. Even if the publication is accepted before this form is submitted, it will not be published.

Ethical Principles and Publication Policy
Publication Ethics

"International Journal of Advances in Engineering and Pure Sciences", published within the body of Marmara University Institute of Science, is a peer-reviewed journal whose publication processes are based on the scientific production, development and sharing of knowledge.
In the realization of scientific production, all components of the publication process; publishers, editors, authors, referees and readers must comply with ethical principles. In this context, the publication ethics and open access policy of the Journal of Marmara University Institute of Science, in line with the guidelines and policies published by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in open access (For example, the "Publication Ethics Committee (COPE) Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors, “Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors” and “COPE Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors”) require that all components of the publication process comply with ethical principles.
If situations such as manipulating and distorting the data used in the articles and using fake data are detected, this situation will be officially reported to the institution where the article writer works and the article will be rejected. Our journal has the right to request the output files of the analysis results from the authors according to the feedback given by the editor and / or referees.

Publisher's Ethical Responsibilities
Marmara University, the publisher of the "International Journal of Advances in Engineering and Pure Sciences", is a non-profit public education institution that pursues the public interest.
The publisher's ethical responsibilities are as follows:

Responsibilities of the Editorial Board of the "International Journal of Advances in Engineering and Pure Sciences", published by Marmara University Institute of Science and Technology
• The Editorial Board of Marmara University Institute of Science and Technology "International Journal of Advances in Engineering and Pure Sciences" is responsible for every article submitted to the International Journal of Advances in Engineering and Pure Sciences Journal. and the Editorial Board knows this responsibility. This responsibility, considering only the public interest in decisions made on journal-related matters; it requires making decisions independently without considering personal gain. The relationship between the Publisher and the Editorial Board is based on the principle of independence, and all decisions taken by the editors are independent of the publisher and other persons and organizations.
• The Editorial Board strives to continuously improve the journal and increase its publication quality.
• Ensures the determination and implementation of journal policies such as publication, blind review, evaluation process, ethical principles.
• Protects the copyright of the article authors published in the journal.
• Responsible for taking measures regarding intellectual property rights, unscientific-unethical behaviors, plagiarism, sending (citation) gangs during the article and journal publishing process.
• Prepares an "Author's Guide" containing the information requirements of the author (s) and a "Referee Guide" containing the information that the referees will need during the evaluation phase, and updates it when necessary.
• Referees determine the policies that motivate the author (s).
• Keeps the records of each article and correspondence related to the journal electronically or in print.

Editor, Assistant Editors and Field Editors' Ethical Responsibilities

• Editors; They endeavor to meet the information needs of referees, author (s), researchers, practitioners and readers, to give feedback when necessary, to act according to the principles of clarity in matters that require correction in the publication process and clarification.
• While deciding on the publication of the articles, they take care that the articles are original and contribute to the scientific literature, readers, researchers and practitioners.
• While making positive or negative decisions about the articles, they take into account the original value of the articles, their contribution to the field, the validity and reliability of the research method, the clarity of the expression, and the purpose and scope of the journal.
• Unless the submitted articles have a significant problem, they take the pre-evaluation stage, consider the positive referee suggestions, and do not change the decisions made by the previous editor (s) unless there is a serious problem.
• They implement the policies of the blind review and evaluation process, which are among the publication policies of the journal, keep the identity information of the referees confidential, and ensure that each article is evaluated impartially and in time.
• They send the articles taking into account the field of expertise of the field editors and referees, and they support the impartial and independent evaluation.
• In order for the article to be evaluated objectively, they consider whether there is a conflict of interest between the editors, referees and author (s).
• They seek to ensure that the referee pool consists of a wide range and is constantly updated.
• They prevent unscientific evaluations that do not comply with academic etiquette.
• Ensures that the journal publishing processes are operated in accordance with the publication policies and guidelines, informs their field of duty in the process about the developments in publication policies, and prepares a training program when necessary.
• Those who take part in the broadcasting process are in effective communication with everyone and hold meetings at regular intervals.
• They ensure the protection of personal data in reviewed articles; protect individual data of authors, referees and readers.
• They pay attention to the protection of human and animal rights in the articles, they care about documenting the explicit consent of the participants of the article, they reject the article when they do not have the approval of the ethics committee for the participants of the article and their consent for experimental research.
• They take precautions against misconduct. When there are complaints about misconduct, he / she makes an objective investigation and shares the findings on the subject.
• They ensure that errors, inconsistencies or misdirections in the articles are corrected.
• Protect the intellectual property rights of the published articles and defend the rights of the journal and the author (s) in case of violation. In addition, they take necessary measures to ensure that the content of published articles does not infringe the intellectual property rights of other publications; They check for originality-similarity.
• They take into account the consistent criticism of the articles published in the journal, and allow the author (s) of the criticized articles to reply.
• They also consider studies that include negative results.
• They examine the complaints submitted to the journal and make the necessary explanations.

Ethical Responsibilities of Referees
Marmara University Institute of Science, "International Journal of Advances in Engineering and Pure Sciences Journal" applies the directional blind review principle in the article evaluation process, referees cannot directly communicate with the authors; The article evaluation forms and the notes stated on the text and the correction requests are forwarded to the author (s) by the editors through the journal management system. Referees who will evaluate the articles submitted to the International Journal of Advances in Engineering and Pure Sciences Journal of Marmara University Institute of Science should bear the following ethical responsibilities:
• Referees should only agree to evaluate articles related to their field of expertise.
• The evaluation should be done in neutral and confidentiality. In accordance with this principle, they should destroy the articles they have reviewed after the evaluation process, but use them after publication. Nationality, gender, religious belief, political belief and commercial concerns should not disturb the neutrality of the evaluation.
• When they understand that there is a conflict of interest-community of interest, they should refuse to evaluate the article and inform the editors.
• Make the assessment in accordance with academic etiquette and in a constructive language; Avoid personal comments containing insults and hostility.
• They should evaluate the article, which they accept, within due time.

Ethical Responsibilities of Authors
Ethical responsibilities of the author (s) who submitted an article to Marmara University Institute of Science, International Journal of Advances in Engineering and Pure Sciences:
• The author (s) should not send an article published elsewhere or submitted for publication, or more than one article simultaneously to the International Journal of Advances in Engineering and Pure Sciences.
• Must submit an original article to the International Journal of Advances in Engineering and Pure Sciences.
• It should be stated that the articles submitted to the journal are not sent to another journal and the Copyright Transfer Form should be filled in.
• Must correctly refer (cite) to the sources they use during article writing in line with ethical principles.
• The names of persons who do not contribute to the article should not be written as authors, it should not be suggested to change the order of the authors of an article submitted for publication, to remove or add authors.
• Notify the editors of the people who have a conflict of interest or a common interest in the article for publication.
• If information or raw data is requested from the author (s) during the evaluation process, they should submit the expected information to the Editors.
• They must document that the rights of use of the data they use in their articles, the permissions for research-analysis or the consent of the participants on which they conduct research.
• When they notice an error in the evaluation and early view or electronically published article, they should contact the editor to inform, correct or withdraw them.
• Approved by the ethics committee for studies that require data collection through quantitative or qualitative methods such as experiments, questionnaires, scales, interviews, observation, focus group work that require the decision of the ethics committee; The name of the ethics committee, the date and number of the decision should be stated on the first-last page of the candidate article and in the method section, and the document showing the ethics committee decision should be uploaded to the system with the application of the article. In addition, case reports should include information about obtaining informed consent / consent form in the article.
• In the article, they should present the evidences that they are attentive to ethical principles in the data collection process (obtaining permission from others to use documents such as scale, questionnaire, photograph). It should be stated in the articles that the copyright regulations for research and publication ethics and intellectual and artistic works are complied with. If the research was carried out on human and animal subjects, it should be reported that the research was carried out in accordance with international papers, guidelines, etc.
• Ethics committee approval is not required from the author (s) for review articles. However, for articles that do not require an ethics committee decision, it should be stated that an ethics committee decision is not required, on the first-last page and method section of the article.

Notifying the Editor of Non-Compliance with Ethical Principles
